Drum roll please…

A couple of great announcements I’m super happy to make today…

When I’m in Africa I’ll be blogging for myself but also in partnership with Acacia Africa, the company I’m travelling with!

Obviously with only occasional (and often slow) internet access, I will write updates when I can but it’s when I return that the magic will happen (bowchiccawawa – how 90s does THAT sound?!) as I will do a daily breakdown of how the trip works and what I got up to etc. I won’t be getting paid so my reviews of the trip/activities etc will be HONEST but it will be a bit of a monkey cleaning business. You know, ‘you scratch my back and I’ll pick the fleas off yours’.

In other news, I’ve updated the ‘Who Am I’ page – it looks a lot more sleek and professional now since I want to be able to turn my little slice of internet cake into travel blog heaven. My site has been active since February 2009 and it’s only until recently when becoming active in the travelsphere on Twitter that I’ve started to become serious about it all. So I figured that the best place to start is the beginning right? Enjoy…

Being that I’m now in the process of converting this nugget of gold into a bonafide (haha, I said bona) travel site, it’s also meant that I’ve scrapped a lot of my old posts from the beginning. Don’t panic, you didn’t miss much and I’ve kept all of the travel related posts so you can still hear about how I almost went to China and how I bagged my backpack bargain (I’m amazing at using alliteration).

And in case you haven’t noticed the other little thing, I’ve added a contact page too – I’m so clever!

As for the rest of the things that will be coming up?  Well, now that would be telling wouldn’t it 😉
